I'm Back

I'm back! Yes, I know that it has been awhile, but with the holidays right around the corner it will only get busier for me. Currently I am home and have been spending time with family. Also over this winter break I have had a wonderful opportunity of having a internship. I hope to catch everyone up on my project from this past quarter, share the few pictures I have, and a decision about school. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and has a great week ahead.

Back Tracking to 7/19/09

I'm back tracking a little since I just started my blog. Trust me.. The blogs will slack off before long.
On this beautiful Sunday, my mom and I decided to take my nephew Colton and Aiden (my puppy) to Daffin Park in Savannah. The weather was absolutely amazing and the humidity was non-existence which doesn't happen often in the South. At Daffin Park, you can get away from all the tourism of Savannah, and we were allowed to let little Aiden off his leash since their wasn't hardly anyone around. We planned our day with a picnic, running on the open grass, and playing on the playground.

Colton and I having a picnic..

Colton smiling while eating his chicken nuggets..

Aiden (puppy) and Colton out in the open field..

Colton and Grammie playing in the grass..

Colton "cheesing" it up with Grammie's glasses...

Colton persisted that Aiden should swing with him.. So here is goes
(P.S. Didn't last long at All)

Aiden and I posing for a picture before sliding down the slide....

That afternoon... my brother (Brad) and my sister-n-law (Kristi) came over to let baby Caden have his first swim at my apartment pool..

Baby Caden before the Swim...

Apparently.. we were all in the pool while he was in the pool so we only have pictures of before and after.. But Pops did get it on video..

All warm and cuddly afterward...

We had a very busy Sunday, but I enjoyed having all of my family together.

P.S. Sorry for backtracking so much!

Catching Up with Life

Catching Up on Life... Is Quite Difficult with my Crazy Schedule and Busy Life

Since June, I have welcomed the new arrival of a nephew named Caden Scott Morris who was born on June 3rd, weighing 9 lbs. 3 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long.

Welcome Little One!

He now is 7 weeks old, and he weights 12 lbs. and is 24 inches long; A big and healthy boy that I love dearly!

I've also traveled home to Mississippi to spend time with my family and friends which was so refreshing. I spent much time with my best friend, Marybeth and her son, Gage, whom is an absolute cutie!

Marybeth and Gage on the swing.. He was at the pool with all of the girls all day and he never cried at all...

Little Gage Enjoying the Pool... 6 Months Old!

Later in the week... We went to dinner with our friends from high school.. We felt it was necessary to get the old gang back together after 2 years. Wow.. It's seems like forever ago.

Marybeth and I eating out..

Corey and Logan.. (Our Best Buddies Minus Glyn)

We had a great time out with the guys, and it was sorta like old times to an extent. Much has went under the bridge since high school though. Glyn was the only one missing from our little group from HS.

After staying in Mississippi for a week, I drove back to Savannah, GA. I need the week away from Savannah, but it was quite nice to know I was going where I belong. The rest of my time off I read books, went to the park, and truly relaxed.
One book I read was "Swapping Lives" which will be in a post later!

Currently.. I am on midterm week of my summer classes. Only 5 more weeks to go since we are on the quarter system instead of the semester system. I'm taking my first Interior Design Studio and should be done by the end of next summer with the INDS degree. I will be there till Fall of 2010 if I proceed with my minor in Architecture.

More on my INDS Studio 1 on Next Blog!
