Sssshhh.. It's a Surprise.
My mom had decided that since my step-dad was turning 60, we should throw a SURPRISE birthday party with friends and family.
Before the actual surprise party, my step-brother, Brad, showed up with both boys on Sunday as a surprise. Larry was completely shocked and couldn't believe we kept a secret from him. (If he only knew there was more.) Brad was not able to stay for the party on Monday due to having class, but he did decided to let Colton stay with us till Wednesday when I would be heading back to Savannah.
On September 7th, we were going to succeed with this SURPRISE. We had decided that we would get one of his friends and a close family friend to plan a bike ride for breakfast. All went as planned and he left the house around 7 am. All broke loose at our house due to everyone arriving at 11:00 a.m.. My Mom, Colton, and I ran to pick up the cake, buy ice and ice cream. It took us a little longer due to having a 2 year old tagging along, but we wouldn't trade it for anything. As we pulled into the driveway, my uncle and his other half was already there with there crew of 6 boys. Then my LeeLee (My mom's friend) came over to help. We would never had been able to pull this off without all of our family and friends pitching in and helping.
