On the Road Again...

I Don't Wanna Get On The Road Again..
I'm sick of RIDING.. I'm sick of DRIVING...

Heading Out

I was kind of dreading this trip home, because I would be traveling with a 2 1/2 year old. This was something that I had never done before, and I would be doing it all by myself along with having little Aiden. On Wednesday morning, I awoke at 5 am to get ready for the day and to put the last minute things away. Hoping we would pull out by 6:30 at the latest. Colton woke up at 5:30 a.m. and was in an GREAT mood, which made me really happy. The car was packed.. we were both dresses and ready to hit the road.

The trip went AMAZING. We made several stops...

Welcome to Florida.. Our 1st stop in Pensacola, FL.
Really?! Another Picture Aunt Jess?!

I've actually never stopped so much, but it only added a extra hour onto our 9 hr trip. Colton was the best traveler, and we had a great time. He kept me company and made the ride somewhat better even though my bum was about to die from sitting so long. We arrived back in Savannah around 5:30 p.m.. I was glad to get home, but dreaded the unpacking process.

Suppose to be Napping...
Didn't Nap so Paci went Bye Bye...
But he was watching his movies.

Colton going to Nap.. This Time it happened..
Aiden Napping in his seat... (Too Dangerous for me to hold him while I drive)
Aiden all Tuckered Out... Too bad I couldn't NAP with them.

Hope your having a Great Sunday.

Aww your nephew is precious! What a brave person you are to travel that far with a 2 and 1/2 year old. And I know what you mean about being tired of driving. I am from Birmingham and went to school in Mobile and I used to HATE that drive. And it was only 3 and 1/2 hours. I can't imagine 9 hours.

Bellismom,
I can't imagine making that 3 and 1/2 hour drive as often as you probably had to make it. When I was still living at home.. I didn't live but about 30 minutes from Mobile.
