Day 1: August 31st
On Monday, we took a Tootsie Tour. Tootsie Tours does a combination of different tours, and we chose the #1 tour, which is Nashville’s Most Complete Tour. During the tour, we got to see the Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame. We also drove through downtown Nashville and saw highlights like the home of the Tennessee Titans and the home of the Nashville Predators, Music Row, and the Honky Tonk Row in the entertainment industry. We also got to pass by the homes of some of Country’s Music biggest stars such as Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Kix Brooks, Ronnie Dunn, Little Jimmy Dickens, and Hank Williams Sr., just to name a few. We also stopped by the World Famous Tootsie Orchid Lounge to enjoy live country music.
After the 3 and a half hour tour, we decided that we would go to the Gay Lord Opry Land Resort and Convention Center to view atriums that so many BLOGFROG people told me to visit. The gardens were beautiful, and we decided to take the Delta Riverboat tour through one of the atriums. The Gay Lord Opry Land Resort and Convention Center was an absolutely beautiful hotel. After walking around for awhile, we went back to our resort to cook dinner, and after dinner Mom and I decided to go back to the Opry Mills Mall. I found a brown pair of capris at Gap on the sale rack for only 9.88, which made me feel very happy. After a long day, we were quite exhausted and off to bed we went.
Below are a few pictures of the days events.
