Cooking Adventures with Jes...

After a busy Friday morning, I decided to try a new recipe from my friend Ashlee's cookbook that I got from her house this morning while feeding her cat, Cobi. It was sitting there and called my name.
After looking through it, I decided on making a Southwestern Hamburger. Cooking is something that I've really started to enjoy while being away at college. I am also more out to be an adventurous eater.. So I tried something new... On my way home, I ran by the store to pick up a few ingredients... Chili Powder, Hamburger Meat, Buns, and a few other things. After getting home, I pulled all my ingredients out and started mixing them together with a few that I insisted that it needed to make complete..
I added...
Tony's Seasoning
Barbecue Sauce
Bread Crumbs
Garlic

Well.. I went outside and turned on my little grill that my parents bought me.

After putting my hamburgers on the grill, I waited and waited and waited. Then when I went to flip them over..... the unthinkable happened...

Most of them fell apart... Except 1 that is!

This probably happened due to the fact of adding my own ingredients and not adding enough bread crumbs to keep the hamburger together! All I can do is Laugh Out Loud!

I had to find this quite hilarious due to the fact that I always pick on my mother for her delicious hamburgers falling apart sometimes (not all the time though). I guess that's what I get for making fun of her hamburgers all these years..
Even though they fell apart.. I have NO complaints and they were quite delicious..
But MORE bread crumbs next time!

P.S. This is a TRIBUTE to my MOM! Hope you enjoy!
