UBP 2010

Happy Friday to you all!

Today I am linking up with 5 Minutes for Mom for their Ultimate Blog Party 2010.  Welcome to all who stop by today! For you regulars, you just might learn something new about YOURS TRULY.

Ultimate Blog Party 2010

Here is the formal introduction:

My name is Jessica.  I am originally from Hurley, MS, which is a very small town about 45 minutes northeast of Biloxi, MS.  Growing up, I was a very active leader at my church, which led me to teach sunday school, lead children's music, and go on two mission trips to Panama, and Peru that changed my life forever.  I think that these events truly shaped me into the person I am today. Growing up in a small town made me learn to appreciate what larger towns have to offer.

About 3 years ago, I sent off my college application to Savannah College of Art and Design.  Honestly, I never thought that I would get accepted, but I told myself that if "It's meant to be" I'll get in.  A couple months later, I got my acceptance letter.  I was thrilled beyond belief, and excited about what would happened in the near future.

I have been at SCAD for 2 years, and I would say it is one of the best decisions I ever made.  I worried at times if it was the right decision due to other circumstances, but I know deep down it was.  I currently have 7 weeks until I walk across the stage to get my (fake) diploma and 17 weeks till I official graduate with my Bachelors in Interior Design.  I am excited and scared about the next chapter in my life, but I am believing God has it already worked out for me.

My blog is about all things ME.
I write about my life in general, cooking, adventures, hobbies and my family.

Hope I didn't make you fall asleep!
Have a wonderful weekend, and Hope you will visit again!

Congrats on your graduation! I too am from a small town (in Kansas) and graduated with 2 bacholor's degrees, one being in Bible from a fanatastic Christian College. So glad to meet another Jesus loving, mission trip taking blogger! I really want to go on more missions trips. My faith is taken to new heights whenever I do.

See you around!

What a cute blog! Before I had my daughter (15 month old) I was a high-end residential interior designer in Dallas. I loved it and still do freelance design work. You will love it! Hope you find time to stop by my blog!

Graduation is amazing fun. I'm also a 20something. Those weeks/months right after graduation are so exciting .. so many options, opportunities, experiences.

I should stop waxing poetic like a nerd.

Ha.

Enjoy the rest of the UBP!

Hi! Congrats on your upcoming graduation! My husband is a graphic designer and at times we've contemplated moving to Savannah so he could get an MFA at SCAD. We hear so many great things about it.
